Forest School Days

This week all of the children in years 1 – 6 have donned their old clothes and wellington boots and headed out to the Forest School area where they found a roaring camp fire and a range of craft activities waiting for them. The children in Westward Ho!, Croyde and Saunton classes made some smelly cocktails using the plants that they could find on the field and some magical smell enhancers. Pupils from Mortehoe and Barricane classes used loppers and secateurs to cut sticks and then used tape and string to create some spiders’ webs. All of the children finished their Forest School session by cooking a sweet treat on the campfire which they thoroughly enjoyed!

  1. It looks like everyone is having lots of fun. It takes a lot of skill to carefully weave a spider’s web. Well done.
